• We have always been interested in stories that feel extremely tangible but don't seem quite of this time and place. We believe that mankind is here to create and that true creation takes vision, suffering and a bit of insanity. Without art, our purpose is lost, but with it, we are in control of the limits and meaning of our lives. This idea fuels the story of One.

    Bio

Twin directing duo, Adam and Nathan Freise create stories that blur the line between imagination and reality. Their unique stylistic choices are grounded in their background in architecture and animation, disciplines which have influenced their true passion: filmmaking.

The brothers have made their mark, creating cinematic commercials for brands including Adidas, On, NFL, Zillow, SoFi and more. Among many award-winning spots, their Tesla ad, Not a Dream, was featured on Treehugger and Adweek, and brought them an award at Cannes.

  • For more than twenty years, Jeremy has been writing stories that explore the unlit recesses of the mind. He has a soft spot for outsiders and outcasts, and loves writing flawed characters searching for connection.

He’s been a film junkie since seeing Pulp Fiction in college. When he sat down to write the first draft of One, he hoped to create a story that's unusual and challenging but also emotionally engaging—all things he looks for in a film.

He has stated that working with Adam and Nathan has been life changing. “We have a special creative connection, and I hope this is the beginning of a long, productive partnership.”

  • Phill is originally from London, and he has worked in production for more than twenty years, both in the UK and in the US. He understands how to be efficient, cost-effective, and highly creative at the same time. Phill is also a published writer of satirical comedy.

  • Jordan is a prolific narrative and commercial Director of Photography, whose work has played at film festivals worldwide. Some notable achievements include Chaperone premiering at Sundance 2022 and making Indiewire’s Sundance 2022: 10 Must-See Short Films, See You Then which had its World Premiere at SXSW 2021, Tom in America which earned him recognition for the Indie Soul Best Cinematography Award at the Boston International Film Festival (starring Academy Award-nominees Burt Young of Rocky and Sally Kirkland of JFK), Vimeo Staff Picks for the films NYC Tips and Tricks, It’s Been Too Long, Speghetter Getter, and A Taco Told in Texas, two “Ad of the Day” with Adweek, Shortlisted for the Cannes Lions Travel & Branded Content for Tinder Plus, and “Short of the Week” for his film Stryka which stars Rupert Friend and Aimee Mullins.

  • Joseph Lopez is a California Native, who has spent most of his working time, split between L.A., Mexico City, and New York.

Always a passionate artist, he started as a re-cycled textile colorist in the surf market and then later in life, listened to his calling to explore the art of acting.

He studied acting in NYC, mentored by the highly respected Sheila Gray. Under her guidance in Sensory Method techniques he finally decided to start auditioning after 8 yrs. of training.

Late to the scene, he has accumulated over 140 film projects in his short 5 yr. career. Having worked with Emmanuel Lubezki, Terrence Malick, Trey Helds and Carl Weber From BET, and the incredible Nadia Lee Cohen, are so far, his most smile filled memories.

He's stated that working with the Freise Bros. and Leo Ramsey on "One" was filled with magical moments, due to the story and chemistry between the actors and directors. He also shared, "that as actors, when we see the whole crew, dead quiet and glued to the monitor...there's a good chance....that something very special is unfolding", and that, was what happened, on "One"

  • Leo Ramsey is an actor best known for his work in indie films like ROOM 37: The Mysterious Death of Johnny Thunders and Blue Line Station. Leo has also appeared in ABC’s For the People, and will next be seen in the upcoming FX series The Border, based on Don Winslow’s Cartel Trilogy.

  • Ethan Konner Post, from Atlanta, GA, is known within his social circle as an old soul, likely because a brush with mortality at an early age put him on a fast track to maturity. At age 7, Ethan was learning to cope with the often-brutal realities of cancer treatment. After doctors diagnosed him with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2019, he underwent several rounds of chemotherapy that thankfully sent the disease into remission. That battle taught Ethan resilience, gratitude and helped him look for the silver linings in life. It also gave him a self-awareness that is rare for someone his age.

His parents say that he has been a performer since he first learned to talk, but he began his formal study of acting at Catapult Acting Studios in Atlanta in 2020, during his first year of recovery. His first professional opportunity came in the fall of 2022, when he landed a recurring role on Season 2 of Freeform's Single Drunk Female. A few months later, Ethan played a lead role in the short film Quandering Questions, written and produced by students at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He also recently played in a co-starring role in a Tubi original series called Spilled Paint, written and directed by Brandon Gibson.

  • Esther Lucille Brown is a trained actor based in Los Angeles, California. Most recently she was nominated for Best Actress for her work in Out of Love at Toronto's International Nollywood Film Festival 2022.

Out of Love received multiple nominations and awards, including nominations for Best Actress, Best Actor, and Best Director. Wins were secured for Best African Female Filmmaker and Best Student Film.

Esther studied Sanford Meisner's technique under teachers Peter Lewis and Anthony Montes at the Academy of Art University, along with singing classes with Cynthia Baggot and Deb Eubanks, and Improvisation with Second City's Karen Hirst. There she landed the role of Margot in Legally Blonde: The Musical, directed by Clark Lewis at Sutter Theatre, along with various films around the city. Freekick, one of the short films she worked on directed by JP Diaz, was selected to be an official Cannes Film Festival short film selection. Upon moving to San Diego, she continued honing her craft after finding Andrew Benne and Irene Muzzy, and made her way to Los Angeles. There she studied with Fran Montano and Peter Wise, and is currently working on a variety of films, shorts, and music videos.

Esther is signed with Penny Middlemiss at MPM Models and Talent Agency.

  • Christina Braa is a Los Angeles based actor, singer, and dancer. She is known for her work as the title character in Miss Brown (Tribeca 2023 official selection, directed by Christina Burchard) and as series regular Mara Esteban in the Full Moon Features series Miskatonic U (dir. William Butler), which can be found on Amazon Prime and the Full Moon app.
